Determine the Need for a Self-Supporting Fund

Policy Statement

Self-supporting funds are managed as business-like operations with the objective of generating sufficient revenue from sales to finance all costs associated with the activities. Customers may include other University of Illinois System departments, faculty, staff, and students, the general public, and other external entities.
