6.4.3 Protect Personal Property
Policy Statement
The university assumes no responsibility and does not carry insurance for any loss, theft, or damage to an individual's personal property brought onto University-owned or -leased premises. This applies even to your personal vehicle or personal aircraft when used in connection with your work.
Procedure
To protect personal property:
- Contact your insurance agent to verify your property is insured.
- Mark your personal property so you are identified as the owner.
